Hello parents and welcome to Wirtz Preschool! My name is Mrs. Diana, and I am thrilled to have your child in my class this year. I want to take a moment to tell you a little bit about myself. I have a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, from California State University of Dominguez Hills. I have been teaching preschool for 6 years now. Before that I was a preschool instructional assistant for Paramount Unified School District, for 13 years. In addition, I currently hold a Site Supervisor Teaching Permit. I am happily married and have a beautiful four-year-old girl. On my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy watching movies, dancing, and traveling.
In my class we focus on leaning thru play-based activities and hands on experiences. I believe that these methods help young children learn important life skills and develop a love of learning.
I am looking forward to getting to know your child and helping them grow during their time in my class. Thanks again for placing your trust in me as your child’s preschool teacher. It is truly an honor.
