Welcome to Hollydale State Preschool!

My name is Anna Figueroa. I am very excited to be your child's preschool school teacher this year. I grew up in Paramount. I attended Paramount schools and graduated from Paramount high school. I have worked for Paramount Unified School District for over 36 years. I am honored to be able to give back to my community. After high school, I attended Long Beach City College where I earned an Associate of Arts degree in Child Development. I also attended the University of La Verne, where earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. In addition, I possess a Site Supervisor Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. I'm also certified in Pediatric First Aid and Infant CPR. In my spare time, I love to shop at Target and make frequent stops at Starbucks. I frequently go to church and spend time with family and friends. I support non-profit foundations and charities. I would like to encourage you to join me on various walks to support causes. Lastly, I am truly looking forward to a terrific school year.
